Chloë Craver - Founder

Chloë is the owner and founder of Lotus Yoga. She created first the Yoga Alliance verified 200 hour training program in 2018 when she felt called as an educator to take on a higher leadership roll in the Winston-Salem yoga community. With the success of this education platform, she sought a home for her growing yoga family, cue the Wake Forest Innovation Quarter: home of the world renowned medical school and a revitalized campus made for innovative thought and lifestyle.

Chloë’s yoga practice began quite young as a ballerina where she was first taught to connect with every part of her body and use it as a vehicle for self expression. When she took her first yoga class at the age of 21, she immediately fell in love with the culture, physical practice, and challenge of mindfulness in our busy world. She is now an E-RYT 500 Yoga Alliance teacher, which means she has put in the work as a student through a variety of training programs and logged over 2,000 teaching hours. Her classes are always spoken straight from her heart. You leave her classes feeling lighter, brighter, and inspired to carry your practice from the mat and into your daily life.

Beyond yoga, Chloë is newly married to her best friend, Neil Craver. Together, they run all aspects of Lotus Yoga Academy and still manage to spoil their favorite feline spirit, Shanti Modo. You can find her teaching daily classes at Lotus Yoga, as well as pouring the best beer in Winston-Salem at Incendiary Brewing Co. Join the two businesses every Monday night for a Yoga+Brew class, best deal in town!

Chloë received her Bachelor’s of Science in Human Biology in 2010 from UNC-Greensboro. Her love of anatomy & physiology is evident in her teaching style as she uses her academic background to help educate students about their bodies and how to live a healthy & abundant life.
