Our Yoga Teacher Training Program is a soul-enriching voyage, thoughtfully crafted to empower aspiring yoga instructors with the indispensable leadership skills required to adeptly guide Vinyasa yoga and meditation classes. Dive into the profound currents of yogic philosophy and history, tracing the roots through the Ashtanga lineage while mastering the intricate art of sequencing. Our all-encompassing curriculum extends to the nuances of anatomy and body mechanics, ensuring a comprehensive grasp of the physical dimensions of yoga.

Included is an immersion into the art of hands-on adjustments, where you will refine the capacity to offer personalized guidance to your students. Explore the mystical realm of Kundalini awakening, unlocking the potential for deep transcendtial spiritual growth and connection. At the core of our program is the dedication to the cultivation of a meticulously tended personal practice, fostering the groundwork upon which your distinct teaching style and authenticity will blossom.

WHAT’S INVOLVED

In our Yoga Teacher Training offering, you can expect to expand your practice expertise through a devotional approach to the tried & true methods of practice.

  • Chloë specializes in Ashtanga Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga with inspiration drawing from the Baptiste methodology, Chakra Awakening, Lunar Rhythms, and the Sacred Feminine expression.

  • Neil Specializes in Kundalini Yoga as delivered by Yogi Bhajan, mechanics of movement & functional movement, bio-hacking for daily wellness, and Spiritual Sweat.

  • You will navigate your way through daily Sadhanas and regular weekly classes on our schedule that are intended to help you find your footing in a well tended to practice, which will help you discover your teaching style and niche.

  • In addition to the frequency in which you will visit your mat, we offer an Ayurvedic and Herbalism immersion to help you navigate your way to healthier habits and gut health, awakening your most vital energy with the support of how you nourish from the start. Chloë has her Masters of Science in Herbal Medicine, so this modality offers her expertise in herbal support, aromatics, supplementing nutrients and minimizing the toxic load of our food source.

  • Weekend intensives include the following areas of study: Sequencing Vinyasa, Hands on Adjustments, Anatomy & Physiological applications of yoga, Kundalini Awakening, History and Culture of Yoga, The Business of Yoga, and more.

THE COMMITMENT

Your time is your greatest currency. How you spend your time contributes to the value you place on the things in your life and how you embody your reality. Good things take time, we are not in a rush to get it done and tick a box.

  • Our course requires a minimum of 3 months. Further study and mentorship may be encouraged beyond the course parameters depending on what we discover together.

  • 2024 dates are set to occur May 17 - August 18 with 9 weekend intensives occurring during these dates. (exact weekends will be set by 2/29 based on participants availability)

  • During these 3 months, you must commit to your practice at minimum 4 times per week at our yoga studio.

  • Cost - our 200 hour course in total costs $3,600 and provides you with the knowledge and confidence to create yoga classes, workshops, retreats, series, and so much more. Most of our participants begin subbing and teaching weekly classes at Lotus Yoga and out in the community immediately upon completing our course work as we focus on training practitioners exactly how to teach from their experience.

A $500 nonrefundable deposit is due with your application, upon acceptance the remaining balance will be invoiced and is due in full by May 15.

Michelle Johnson

Michelle Cassandra Johnson is an author, activist, spiritual teacher and practitioner, racial equity consultant and trainer, and intuitive healer. She teaches workshops and immersions and leads retreats and transformative experiences nationwide. Michelle is a 500hr ERYT, YACEP. She has been teaching yoga since 2009 after her 200hr training at Franklin Street Yoga. She went on to complete her 500hr training at Asheville Yoga Center and has trained in many lineages of yoga. Michelle leads courageously from the heart with compassion. Her classes focus on individual and collective transformation through movement, pranayama, self-reflection, and working to identify the reasons why we suffer so that we may remember our pathway to freedom.

DALISA FRITTS

DaLisa has been a practitioner of yoga for over a decade and completed her yoga teacher training in 2017 with Ganesha’s School of Yoga & Wellness. Her classes are centered around putting people back in their bodies by way of breath-work, self compassion & love, and nourishment. DaLisa is also a certified Ayurveda Wellness Coach from Shakti School Ayurveda. Her heart-felt business, Blooming Luna Wellness, provides women with education and support through wellness practices, whole food choices and personalized self-care coaching.
