Intermediate to advanced inversions course designed to give you the tools in practice to confidently and safely explore an upside down practice. This series is for students with an already established and consistent yoga practice who are looking to increase their time upside down and learn how to practice their inversions every single day in any given yoga class. We will progress each week through a variety of inversions and by the end of the series, you will have a better understanding of the body mechanics in inverting and how to train your mind and body to welcome this experience each and every time you practice.
The sole focus of this series is not on mastery of handstanding, but on mastery of the senses & control of the muscles so that when you do attempt to go upside down, there's no guess work only intentional movement. We will practice restorative inversions, headstands, forearm stands, and handstands. You will walk away with skills and drills to practice on your own so that the work continues beyond our series calendar.
Included in this course are 5 small group sessions lasting 2 hours each. Space is limited to 12 individuals so that there is ample time and attention given to each student in the process. There are no makeups and no partial refunds for missed classes.
